Job summary

iSpace, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Device Management Engineer to manage Microsoft Intune for iOS/iPadOS and Android across our enterprise devices, including rugged scanners used in manufacturing and distribution.

You will handle enrollment, compliance, app packaging and OS release readiness. The role requires 5+ years in MDM with 3+ years in Intune, strong knowledge of Apple Business Manager, and experience with vendor management and ITIL/ServiceNow processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mobile device management including 3+ years administering Microsoft Intune for iOS/iPadOS and Android
• Strong knowledge of Apple Business Manager: ADE, VPP, supervised devices, DEPM and kiosk mode
• Experience with Android Enterprise dedicated devices and rugged handheld scanners
• Mobile app management: packaging, deployment, policies and MAM
• Vendor management: escalations, testing, releases, SLAs and renewals
• Entra ID, Conditional Access, certificate-based Wi-Fi and mobile SSO experience
• PowerShell or Graph scripting for reporting/automation
• ServiceNow and ITIL change management experience
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication; able to work independently
• BA/BS in IS/CS or related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Implement changes through ServiceNow change management
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles and status reporting
• Engineer and support enterprise mobile platform in Intune across company devices
• Ensure devices are enrolled, secure, compliant and able to run business apps
• Cover mobile app lifecycle management and OS release readiness

Title: Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer - Microsoft Intune

Contract Duration: November 2026 to November 2027 (with strong possibility of an extension)

Pay rate $44.50 Per hr on W2

Job Responsibilities:

• Resolve escalated iOS/iPadOS and Android device issues: enrollment, compliance, apps and connectivity

What Will The Person Be Working On:

• Engineer and support the enterprise mobile device platform in Microsoft Intune, covering company iPhones and iPads and rugged Android handheld scanners used across manufacturing and distribution sites.
• The role keeps devices enrolled, secure, compliant and able to run business applications. It covers:
• Mobile app lifecycle management
• OS release readiness
• Day-to-day management of mobile technology vendors and app providers

Wants:

• 5+ years of mobile device management experience, including 3+ years administering Microsoft Intune for iOS/iPadOS and Android
• Strong knowledge of Apple Business Manager: Automated Device Enrollment, Apps and Books (VPP), supervised devices, Declarative Device Management and kiosk mode
• Experience with Android Enterprise dedicated devices and rugged handheld scanners (Zebra StageNow, OEMConfig and DataWedge preferred)
• Mobile app management experience: packaging, deployment, app configuration policies, app protection policies (MAM), Managed Google Play private apps and app lifecycle (new)
• Vendor management experience: support case escalation, coordinating vendor testing and releases, tracking SLAs, and supporting license renewals (new)
• Working knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, certificate-based Wi-Fi and mobile SSO
• PowerShell or Microsoft Graph scripting for reporting and automation
• ServiceNow and ITIL change management experience
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills; able to work independently
• Manufacturing or warehouse environment experience a plus
• Certifications preferred: Microsoft MD-102, Apple Deployment and Management, Zebra, ITIL 4 Foundation
• BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
