Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Mobile Device Support Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of company-owned mobile devices, including deployment, configuration, inventory, shipping, recovery, and troubleshooting.

You will support employees in onboarding and offboarding, resolve device issues, and work with Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, and other ITSM tools to ensure smooth mobility operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in technical support, device deployment, inventory, or customer service.
• Experience with iPhones, iPads, and mobile apps.
• Strong inventory tracking, device assignments, and documentation.
• Follows established technical processes and procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, or another MDM.
• Experience with carrier portals and SIM/eSIM activation.
• Experience with ITSM or ticketing systems.
• Experience preparing and shipping technical equipment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or MFA.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+ or Apple/Microsoft related.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enroll, and deploy company iPhones and iPads.
• Manage mobile device requests, tickets, and support queues.
• Activate devices, install apps, configure MFA, and perform checks.
• Package, ship, receive, and track devices and accessories.
• Maintain accurate inventory, asset, and carrier records.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, upgrades, and replacements.
• Troubleshoot mobile service, device, app, and enrollment issues.
• Process returned devices for reuse, recycling, or replacement.
• Communicate with employees, managers, vendors, and teams regarding requests.
• Assist with mobile technology operations and process improvements.
