LMK Recruiting is partnering with a client to hire a Configuration Specialist of Cellular Devices. The role involves assisting customers with mobile devices, laptops, and tablets across various channels—phone, email, and chat.

You will stay current with product features and contribute to knowledge bases to empower users. Ideal applicants have a Bachelor’s in IT/CS or related fields and at least 2 years in technical support, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical support or similar role.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of technical support best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work 8AM-5PM at headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Be the tech guru for troubleshooting mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).
• Provide clear, friendly support through phone, email, and chat.
• Investigate and solve technical problems with diligence.
• Escalate complex issues when needed and ensure resolution.
• Master products to become the go-to tech encyclopedia for customers.
• Stay updated on product features and industry trends.
• Keep detailed records of interactions and solutions for knowledge base improvements.
• Develop easy-to-understand guides and FAQs for customer self-help.
• Collaborate with colleagues, sharing insights and strategies.
• Participate in regular training sessions to keep skills current.
