Job summary

Gentle Dental is hiring Treatment Coordinators to guide patients from clinical diagnosis to treatment acceptance in our Puyallup, WA offices. You will present treatment plans, discuss costs, and coordinate scheduling and financial arrangements.

A minimum of 1 year front office experience in a medical setting and 1 year in Orthodontics is preferred. Strong computer skills are required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year front office experience in a medical environment

Responsibilities

• Discuss treatment options, establish treatment schedules, and prepare financial arrangements with patients.
• Monitor each patient’s progress to ensure completion of dental treatment plan and report patient status to attending doctor and record in system.
• Be knowledgeable in various insurance plans, manuals, exclusions and limitations.
• Ensure that all forms for acceptance (predeterminations to third party benefit providers) have been submitted and patients notified of status and responsibilities.
