Job summary

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a Mobile Response & Stabilization Services Therapist to join the MRSS team in Cincinnati. You will provide crisis assessment, de-escalation, risk assessment, and care coordination, meeting clients where they are and linking them to services in the community.

Qualifications

• Must have BSW, MSW, or Master’s degree in Counseling with active Ohio license.
• LISW and LPCC preferred; LSW, LPC, or MFT also considered.
• Experience in community-based services and strong crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to effectively de-escalate crisis situations and assess risk.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate your own vehicle to provide mobile-response services.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests during established hours and meet clients where they are to assess needs and provide timely crisis support.
• Complete client-centered assessments and document services in the electronic health record.
• Develop individualized plans focused on risk mitigation and connection to services.
• Provide short-term follow-up services including psychotherapy, case management, referrals, and resource coordination.
• Coordinate services with hospitals, police departments, and community partners; communicate across providers and systems.
