Job summary

Applewood Centers, Inc. is seeking a MRSS Licensed Crisis Therapist to provide mobile responses and stabilization for youth and families in crisis. You will collaborate with a MRSS team member to assess risk and coordinate care, delivering in-person support within an hour of a crisis call.

This role emphasizes crisis intervention, safety planning, and thorough documentation to meet licensing standards. Flexible shifts support family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Masters preferred.
• Experience in mental health settings with youth and families.
• First Aid and CPR training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile response to youth/family crises within one hour.
• Engage youth and families to de-escalate crises and assess risk.
• Facilitate appropriate hospitalizations when needed.
• Complete crisis assessments and safety plans.
• Support ongoing stabilization and care coordination for up to six weeks.
• Maintain confidential documentation per licensing standards.
• Uphold HIPAA guidelines and privacy protections.
