Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Clinical Therapist (Youth/MRSS) in Cuyahoga County to deliver trauma‑informed, patient‑centered care. The role focuses on mobile response and stabilization services within the community, including home, school, and crisis settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• LSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent.
• 1–2 years working with youth and families in behavioral health or crisis setting with experience in psychopathology, treatment of severe behavior disorders, abuse/neglect related disorders, and risk of hospitalization.

Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner.
• Provide consultation to internal and external providers regarding access to mobile response services, risk mitigation, triage of care, and other clinical topics.
• Assist with crisis de-escalation, behavioral health assessment, and decision-making for appropriate levels of care.
• Identify interventions for clients in crisis and engage community partners to develop effective plans.
• Provide stabilization of immediate crises and short-term treatment including crisis intervention, individual and family therapy, coordination of services, and referrals.
• Serve as a liaison to coordinate referrals or arrange for community resources; advocate for clients.
• Conduct regular follow-up and stabilization support in MRSS guidelines.
• Comply with MRSS and Crisis workflows and data collection requirements.
• Participate in supervision, regional meetings, and training sessions.
• Exhibit positivity, flexibility and leadership; promote teamwork and belonging.
• Present the Agency positively to internal and external contacts.
