Job summary

Applewood Centers, Inc. is looking for a MRSS Licensed Crisis Therapist to provide Mobile Response and Stabilization Services to youth and families. The role requires responding to crises within an hour, de-escalation, and safety planning alongside a team member.

The position is full-time with a second shift (12:00pm - 8:00pm) and is based in Ohio. LSW/LMFT/LPC licensure is required with two years of relevant experience in mental health services.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Licensure as LSW, LMFT or LPC is required; LISW/IMFT/LPCC preferred.
• Keeps knowledge up to date and applies clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mobile Response and Stabilization Services to youth and families in crisis.
• Respond within one hour to high risk crisis situations with a team member.
• Engage in de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning.
• Facilitate hospitalization when necessary and support stabilization over six weeks.
• Maintain clinical records and ensure HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.
• Attend trainings, supervision, and maintain licensure as required.
