Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of post‑degree experience in mental health or substance use services, or 4 years if non‑human services degree.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in providing crisis management services in settings such as assertive outreach, ACT, ED, or 24/7 crisis response; 20 hours of crisis intervention training within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Respond in-person to crisis calls, provide triage and de-escalation to stabilize beneficiaries.
• Assist in crisis assessments using NC-SNAP or ASAM Criteria to determine service eligibility.
• Implement interventions in the beneficiary’s PCP, including coping skills training and safety planning.
• Collaborate with the LP to develop/update PCPs and address crisis-related goals.
• Supervise Associate Professionals and Paraprofessionals under a supervision plan.
• Document interventions in service notes with date, purpose, details, duration, and effectiveness.
