The QP ensures compliance with Medicaid policy and participates in 24/7 first-responder coverage, with travel to community locations as needed and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
• Minimum of 2 years post-degree experience in mental health or substance use services.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in crisis management services and 20 hours of crisis intervention training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Respond in-person to crisis calls, providing triage, de-escalation, and supportive interventions to stabilize beneficiaries.
• Assist in crisis assessments using NC-SNAP or ASAM Criteria under LP direction to determine service eligibility.
• Implement interventions in PCP such as coping skills training and safety planning.
• Collaborate with LP to develop and update PCPs addressing crisis-related goals.
• Supervise Associate Professionals and Paraprofessionals under supervisory plan.
