Job summary

EPIC Health Partners seeks compassionate QMHPs to join our Mobile Crisis Program in Virginia. You will provide rapid crisis response, stabilization, and community-based behavioral health support under supervision, contributing to recovery-focused care.

Ideal candidates have QMHP registration, a Human Services degree, crisis training, and at least six months of crisis experience. You will document thoroughly and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to connect individuals with needed

Qualifications

• Active QMHP registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services–related field.
• DBHDS Statewide Crisis Training Certification.
• Minimum of six (6) months of crisis services experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Background check, Central Registry clearance, and TB screening completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct crisis intervention and stabilization in the community.
• Assist in ISPs development under licensed professional supervision.
• Use de-escalation techniques and provide basic mental health education.
• Document service notes and submit within 24 hours.
• Maintain 100% compliant documentation and required signatures.
• Assist with care coordination through referrals and discharge planning.
• Support program operations as assigned.
