Job summary

EPIC Health Partners is urgently hiring Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) to join our Mobile Crisis Program in Virginia. This role provides rapid crisis response, stabilization, and community-based behavioral health support under supervision of a licensed professional.

We welcome both experienced professionals and newcomers committed to recovery-oriented care and timely crisis intervention. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to connect individuals with resources and develop

Qualifications

• Active QMHP registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling
• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services–related field required
• DBHDS Statewide Crisis Training Certification required
• Minimum of six (6) months of crisis services experience
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Successful completion of background check, Central Registry clearance, and TB screening

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct crisis intervention and stabilization services within the community.
• Assist in the collaborative development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) under supervision of a licensed professional.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and provide basic mental health education to support stabilization.
• Document all service notes and submit within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Ensure documentation and signatures are complete and charts remain compliant.
• Assist with care coordination through referrals and discharge planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations.
