Job summary

Village Behavioral Health (VBH) is seeking qualified Mental Health Professionals to join our Comprehensive Mobile Crisis Responder (MCR) team for day and evening coverage across Virginia.

In this role you will balance remote documentation with in-person crisis response, working within a multidisciplinary team to de-escalate crises, plan safety, and connect individuals to care. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with pay differentials for evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must meet QMHP criteria per Virginia regulations.
• MCR training/certification required (or obtained before start date).
• Valid Virginia driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• GPS-enabled device; HIPAA-compliant remote work practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile crisis dispatches within assigned regions.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning.
• Support individuals in high-risk, high-stress situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, CSBs, and community partners.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Participate in supervision, training, and team debriefings.
