Job summary

Pillars Community Health, LLC is expanding its Mobile Crisis Response team and hiring Community Engagement Specialists. You will respond to mental health crises, provide on-site assessments within 60 minutes, and triage crisis calls while maintaining confidentiality and client dignity.

Ideal candidates bring bilingual English/Spanish abilities and prior crisis intervention experience, with a focus on recovery-based engagement and connecting clients to supports in the community.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills required for at least two positions.
• One year of experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• CRSS credential knowledge encouraged; active pursuit encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Respond to individuals in crisis as part of the Mobile Crisis Response team.
• Provide on-site assessment within 60 minutes when possible.
• Triages crisis line calls and dispatches to appropriate staff as needed.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and support crisis safety planning.
• Use lived recovery experience to engage clients and support recovery goals.
• Complete required documentation in the Electronic Client Record.
• Travel locally to client homes and office as required.
