Job summary

Clifford Beers Community Care Center in the Greater New Haven area seeks a Bilingual Mental Health Clinician (Spanish-English) to provide mobile crisis intervention and family-focused assessments. You will support crisis stabilization, care coordination, and referrals while collaborating with schools and partners.

The role requires an MSW or equivalent with LMSW licensure (or license-eligible) and strong bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related mental health discipline required.
• LMSW licensure required; license-eligible candidates may be considered.
• Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile, community-based crisis intervention and mental health assessments for children and families.
• Conduct risk assessments and determine level of care to support clinical decisions.
• Deliver short-term crisis stabilization, safety planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Coordinate referrals to behavioral health and community resources.
• Collaborate with schools, providers, and internal teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 Mobile Crisis.
• Attend supervision, meetings, and required Mobile Crisis trainings within the first year.
