Job summary

EMPACT-SPC is recruiting Mobile Crisis Therapists to respond to crisis calls, provide intervention, and coordinate care. Shifts begin at the office and involve travel to crisis calls and client visits in the community, with a mobile wage differential and crisis wage differential.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field, 2+ years in crisis services preferred, bilingual Spanish/English preferred, and a valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or a related field.
• Minimum of two years in crisis services preferred.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred. Receive bilingual differential.
• Must possess valid AZ driver’s license with no major infractions in the past 39 months.
• Fingerprint clearance card required or eligible to obtain one.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct in-home, in-office, and community-based crisis counseling and follow-up services for youth, adults and families.
• Coordinate communication with other departments to ensure continuity of care and maintain client records.
• Provide instruction and training for interns, pool staff, and new staff.
• Ensure quality service delivery including clinical care and documentation; maintain all client records.
• Work safely and support team members; act professionally in crisis situations.
• Oversee department vehicles as needed and perform basic safety checks when required.
