Job summary

Pillars Community Health, LLC is seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Peer Specialist to assist individuals in crisis, using lived experience to support recovery and engagement. You will de-escalate crises, help develop safety plans, and coordinate immediate and post-crisis follow-up care.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration with clinicians. The position requires responding to on-call crises within 60 minutes, with local travel to community locations,

Qualifications

• Must be a current or former consumer of mental health or co-occurring disorders services.
• One year of experience in behavioral health, social services, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site or virtual crisis response support within 60 minutes when on-call.
• Triages crisis calls and dispatches to appropriate staff.
• Assist with de-escalation and linkage to post-crisis resources.
• Support development of crisis safety plans and follow-up care.
• Maintain confidential records in Electronic Client Record system.
