Job summary

Rosecrance Health Network invites qualified candidates to join our on-site clinical team in Champaign, IL. The role provides behavioral health rehabilitation services to clients and families with a focus on reducing hospitalization and crisis episodes through evidence-based therapies.

Qualifications include a minimum Bachelors in psychology, counseling, social work or related field and MHP/QMHP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• Must qualify as MHP or QMHP per Illinois law.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficiency and electronic health record documentation.
• Ability to complete required documentation within set time frames.
• Skilled in individual, family and group counseling.
• Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Team player with collaborative skills.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Belief in the mission and values of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

• Work hours prescribed by and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
• Motivate and problem solve with staff regarding effective clinical practices.
• Be self-motivated, seek improved performance, problem solve while meeting client needs.
• Adapt verbal and written communication to the language and style of the client and family.
• Complete all necessary documentation within the prescribed timelines.
• Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members.
• Ensure client service records are maintained per rules and regulations.
• Maintain communications with all staff (admissions, process, discharge plans).
• Coordinate services from a variety of community resources.
• Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, staff and community groups when needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Serve as a member of the Clinical Team and attend meetings.
