Job summary

Horizon Health and Wellness is seeking qualified Crisis Specialists to provide face-to-face crisis assessment and intervention in Apache Junction, Casa Grande, or Florence. The role includes intervening in acute crises, triaging for follow-up care, and supporting mobile crisis teams operating 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Required are a high school diploma or bachelor’s in behavioral health, 21+ years old, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma/GED with 4 years behavioral health experience or a BA in a behavioral health field.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Trained in crisis intervention and able to refer clients within the treatment continuum.
• Able to develop treatment plans and summaries based on client needs.
• Must obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face crisis assessment and intervention to individuals of all ages in Pinal County.
• Intervene to alleviate immediate crises and triage for appropriate follow-up treatment.
• Outreach and engagement with outpatient clients as needed.
• Support crisis teams and collaborate with local facilities.
