Job summary

Rosecrance is seeking an Engagement Specialist to deliver mobile crisis response and engagement services in Champaign, IL. You will work within the Population of Focus, helping individuals access mental health resources and participate in crisis solution design.

Roles emphasize trust-building, advocacy, and coordination with the clinical team, with CRSS credential pursuit possible for eligible candidates. Onsite work with a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or higher education.
• Must hold a minimum DMH designation of RSA (Rehabilitative Services Associate).
• Willingness, ability, and commitment to serve as a role model for recovery.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.
• Must have own transportation.
• Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile crisis response services in the community when dispatched.
• Engage individuals hesitant to interact with behavioral health professionals through trust-building and resource provision.
• Participate in design, implementation, and evaluation of crisis solutions.
• Advocate for individuals with professionalism and a collaborative approach.
• Provide appropriate behavioral interventions and referrals to services as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Rosecrance resources and services.
