Job summary

MGX Equipment Services in Baltimore is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Technician to inspect and diagnose mobile cranes, perform repairs, and ensure OEM specifications are met. You will read schematics, test systems, and document work thoroughly while delivering excellent service.

The role requires 2+ years of crane experience, the ability to work independently, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full‑time position with competitive pay and benefits, including a sign-on bonus and tool

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years as a Mechanic/Technician.
• Experience with mobile crane equipment: Grove RT & TMS, Grove GMK European, Manitowoc EPIC/traditional, National Boom Trucks preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer-focus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cranes to diagnose defects and perform repairs.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical components on mobile cranes.
• Read blueprints, manuals, and drawings; interpret OEM specs.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
• Prepare accurate reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
