Job summary

MGX Equipment Services is seeking a skilled crane technician in Dallas, TX, reporting to the Service Manager. The role includes inspecting and repairing mobile crane equipment, reading schematics, and delivering excellent customer service.

Competitive pay, sign-on bonus, and tool reimbursement are offered. The technician will diagnose defects, test post-repair performance, and perform annual inspections while working with Grove RT/TMS/GMK, Manitowoc EPIC, and National Boom Trucks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with minimum 2 years as Mechanic/Technician.
• Must read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent communication with customer focus.
• Experience with mobile crane equipment preferred (Grove/TMS/GMK, Manitowoc, National Boom Trucks).

Responsibilities

• Inspect cranes to diagnose defects and perform repairs.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes; repair hydraulics and electronics.
• Read manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Test repaired equipment to OEM specs and ensure proper operation.
• Prepare parts lists and drawings for jobs; conduct annual inspections.
• Submit accurate reports and time sheets; work independently.
• Provide excellent customer service.
