Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the development, management, and implementation of Health and Safety programs across industrial construction projects. You will ensure OSHA compliance, conduct incident investigations, and provide safety training for all personnel on site.

This role requires travel up to 75% across North America, strong communication and mentoring skills, and collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health and safety, risk management, or construction is required.
• 4-7 years of experience overseeing safety activities on construction projects.
• OSHA training certifications and other professional certifications are required.
• Ability to travel to job sites across North America; travel is 75%+.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety program and procedures.
• Coordinate safety training and toolbox talks for contracts.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local safety laws.
• Conduct safety observations and incident investigations.
• Review subcontractor safety pre-qualification submissions.
• Educate and mentor Dennis Group personnel on accident prevention.
