Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the health and safety program across vertical, industrial construction projects. The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigation, and training delivery for on-site personnel.

Responsibilities include developing health and safety procedures, coordinating training activities, and ensuring regulatory compliance across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, or construction is required.
• 4–7 years of experience overseeing safety activities on construction projects.
• 4–7 years of work experience in developing, implementing, and coordinating health and safety training and activities for construction projects.
• OSHA training certifications and other professional certifications.
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout North America (75%+).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing health and safety program.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and coordinating health and safety training and activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local safety laws.
• Prepare and deliver safety toolbox talks and training topics for contractors.
• Review subcontractor safety pre-qualification submittals.
• Travel to job sites as required (75%+).
• Educate and provide training to Dennis Group personnel on accident/injury prevention procedures.
