Job summary

Panasonic Connect North America is seeking a technician to test, diagnose, repair, and refurbish mobility products such as Toughbooks and Toughpads. You will disassemble and reassemble components, replace faulty parts, run tests, and record data.

A+ certification is a plus, and candidates should be able to lift 12 pounds and work independently or in a team. Responsibilities include reading schematics, ordering parts, and providing feedback on failure trends.

Qualifications

• Experience in computer troubleshooting and repair down to subassembly level.
• Working knowledge of Windows.
• Good organizational, decision-making, and logical troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written & oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to learn new applications and programs.
• Must be able to lift 12 pounds to a height of 5 feet.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• A+ Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose computer hardware failures.
• Replace, adjust and/or repair faulty components.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical manuals.
• Order parts required for repairs.
• Perform quality inspections for all completed processes.
• Data input of required material.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on failure trends.
• Miscellaneous daily tasks including quality control and cleanup.
• Other duties as assigned.
