Job summary

Panasonic Connect North America in Leawood, KS seeks a Deployment Technician to assist with testing, diagnosing, repair, and refurbishment of Toughbooks and Toughpads. You will disassemble and reassemble components and support deployment duties across inventory, shipping, and kitting.

Responsibilities include hardware diagnostics, data entry, receiving products, maintaining accurate records, and assisting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electronic parts (hard drives, memory, AC adapters).
• Able to handle multiple components in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and decision-making skills.
• Able to read/interpret parts diagrams and technical manuals.
• Clear communication skills; detail-oriented.

• Conduct hardware diagnostics and maintain inventory records.
• Use computer systems to enter/record data and process products from vendors/customers.
• Maintain deployment area and assist in shipping/receiving as needed.
• Support other departments as needed and perform daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform various deployment job duties such as memory upgrades, logo badge installation, asset tagging,
• hardware diagnostics, kitting, etc.
• Use computer-based systems to enter/record required data
• Receive/process product from vendors and/or customers
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Stock incoming inventory
• Arrange for delivery or shipment of deployment products as required
• Conduct periodic inventory audits and resolve discrepancies
• Perform quality inspection of all completed processes
• Maintain the deployment department in clean and orderly manner
• Miscellaneous daily tasks including shipping support and clean-up activities
• May be required to assist in other departments on an as-needed-basis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

The wage range of$15.00- $17.00 is just onecomponentof Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
