Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Community Health Worker / Medical Assistant (Unlic) based in Chattaroy, WV. The role supports delivery of clinical services at MLIH sites across Mingo County, with travel to other centers as needed.

The position is full-time and grant-funded, focusing on education, care coordination, and patient advocacy. The CHW/MA will assist with intake, vital signs, telemedicine support, and documentation in the EHR, ensuring confidentiality and quality data

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (2-year cycle).
• Two years of successful office or related work.
• Must pass a skills test administered by nursing staff.

Responsabilités

• Engage with patients and community to promote services and assess health needs.
• Provide culturally appropriate health education and navigation assistance.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, and telemedicine visits.
• Maintain confidentiality and enter data into clinical systems daily.
• Assist in taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, and specimen collection.
