Job summary

Mission Mobile Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the mobile clinic team. You will work on-site across community locations, assisting providers, recording vital signs, and maintaining patient records to ensure seamless care.

The role requires a Medical Assistant certification, at least two years of MA experience, and BLS. Expect flexible hours, travel to local sites, and a mission-driven environment focused on accessible healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the provider with examinations and procedures
• Record vitals including blood pressure, temperature, pulse
• Prepare and administer medications as directed
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Assist with patient registration, scheduling, insurance documentation, and billing processes
• Assist providers during women's health and maternal care visits - exams, screenings, and hands-on support
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are properly sanitized
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations per the state of Missouri
• Participate in community outreach events to promote community engagement with the mobile clinic program
