Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Commercial HVAC Engineer to service multiple commercial sites in the San Francisco area. The role involves fixing equipment, preventive maintenance, and documenting work in a CMMS. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate company vehicles, perform repairs, and mentor others while upholding CBRE values. This is a field-based role within the Engineering and Technical Services function.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license required, and EPA Universal is highly preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook, Teams, and experience with a CMMS.
• Advanced math skills, capable of computing mildly complex figures like percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment following guidelines and codes.
• Address equipment failures and plan modifications to maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems.
• Perform repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance, and document records.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work tasks.
• Share HVAC expertise and mentor others while aligning with CBRE values.
• Collaborate with team members, ensure high-quality work, and clearly communicate with colleagues and clients.
