Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Clinical Assistant to support providers and clinical staff across clinics and mobile units. You will assist with treatments, monitor vital signs, document in EMR, and help ensure smooth patient flow.

Travel to cover other clinic locations and screenings is required; prior phlebotomy/MA/EMT or CNA experience is preferred, with on-site duties and a healthcare-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to complete certification within 30 days of hire.
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the care of the patient by following through on Provider orders for treatments.
• Taking the patients' vital signs.
• Overseeing and participating in day-to-day clinical care of patients. Employees are involved in direct patient care
• Complete screenings and tests on patients
• Document in patient's EMR
• Collect / process lab specimens
• Travel will be required to cover other clinic locations, mobile unit and skilled nursing facility screenings
