Job summary

Optum seeks a Senior Clinical Assistant to support patients and clinical staff across clinics and mobile units. You will aid in patient care, take vitals, document in the EMR, and assist with screenings and specimen collection. Travel between locations is required, expanding your impact across the community.

Qualified candidates may include CNAs, Medical Assistants, EMTs, or phlebotomy staff. A valid CPR/BLS and driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care per provider orders.
• Take patients' vital signs.
• Oversee daily clinical care and direct patient care.
• Complete screenings and tests.
• Document in EMR.
• Collect and process lab specimens.
• Travel to cover other clinic locations and mobile screenings.
