Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHSI) is seeking a Mobile Unit Medical Assistant (MA 1) to operate under the Site Manager and closely collaborate with the RN and Providers in clinical duties.

Responsibilities include charting in the EHR and preparing paperwork for patient visits, while adhering to CHSI policies and California scope of practice. Qualifications include High School diploma, Medical Assistant Certificate, CPR/BLS, and venipuncture/phlebotomy certifications, with 0–2 years of MA

Responsibilities

• Participate in quality improvement projects and PCMH measures.
• Report to Site Manager; work with RN for clinical duties.
• Communicate safety concerns to clinical authorities and document incidents.
• Perform clinical tasks under RN/Provider supervision per scope of practice.
• Follow clinical protocols and infection control measures per CDC guidelines.
• Review orders and ensure completion; document communications in EHR.
• Complete required charting and patient signatures; maintain timely lab results.
