Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer to support multiple facilities in Paramus, NJ, handling preventive maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Role requires travel within the Paramus area and staying within driving radius.

EPA license and a strong safety mindset are essential. Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, maintaining inventory for tools, and ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards while leading by example within the CBRE

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
4+ years proven building engineer experience.
Universal EPA license required.
Mobile maintenance experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and life safety systems.
Review work orders and estimate time and materials.
Implement preventive maintenance programs.
Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing for proper operation.
Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and safety policies.
Operate company vehicles for daily work.
Coach others and share technical knowledge.
Lead by example and uphold CBRE values.
Build consensus with stakeholders.
Work within broad guidelines and explain difficult information.
