Job summary

Hillman Group is seeking an Automotive Key Sales Specialist to represent our automotive key program in Phoenix, AZ. You will operate from a mobile sales van and engage customers at retail locations, dealerships, and events to drive key replacements and programming services.

In this role you will use consultative selling to uncover needs, demonstrate value, and turn conversations into sales while traveling within a 50-mile radius.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in retail sales, direct sales, customer-facing sales, hospitality, or related fields.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence customer purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience in automotive, locksmith, retail, wireless, home improvement, or service sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively approach customers in high-traffic retail parking lots and stores.
• Create a welcoming, energetic customer experience that builds confidence and trust.
• Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and recommend key automotive solutions.
• Demonstrate automotive key replacement and programming services, explaining benefits and value.
• Overcome objections and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Convert customer interest into completed sales and meet sales targets.
• Partner with the Mobile Locksmith Technician to support mobile sales operations.
• Maintain relationships with retail partners, dealership personnel, and prospective customers.
• Manage daily sales activities, customer follow-up, and lead generation opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and the appearance of the mobile van.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and expand market presence.
