Hillman Group is seeking an Automotive Key Sales Specialist in Knoxville, TN. You will work from a mobile sales van, engaging customers at retail locations and dealerships to sell automotive key replacement and programming services.

Responsibilities include proactive customer engagement, consultative selling, and relationship-building with retailers while traveling within a 50-mile radius. The role combines dynamic field sales with strong customer service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in retail sales, direct sales, or customer-facing sales.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience in automotive, locksmith, retail, wireless, home improvement, or service sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively approach customers and initiate conversations in high-traffic retail parking lots and stores.
• Create a welcoming, energetic, and engaging customer experience that builds confidence and trust.
• Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and recommend the right automotive key solutions.
• Demonstrate automotive key replacement and programming services and explain benefits and value clearly.
• Overcome objections and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Convert customer interest into completed sales and support mobile sales operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners, dealership personnel, and prospective customers.
• Manage daily sales activities, customer follow-up, and lead generation opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining inventory, merchandising displays, and the professional appearance of the mobile van.
