The Hillman Group is seeking an Automotive Key Sales Specialist in Knoxville, TN. You will be the face of our automotive key program, meeting customers at retail locations, dealerships, and events, delivering key replacement and programming services from a mobile van.

In this highly interactive, consultative role, you will educate customers, uncover needs, demonstrate value, and confidently turn conversations into sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in retail sales, direct sales, customer-facing sales, hospitality, or related fields.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence customer purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience in automotive, locksmith, retail, wireless, home improvement, or service sales is a plus. Direct sales experience and strong communication/relationship-building skills are identified qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Proactively approach customers in high-traffic retail lots and stores.
• Create an engaging customer experience that builds confidence and trust.
• Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Demonstrate automotive key replacement and programming services and explain benefits.
• Overcome objections and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Convert customer interest into completed sales.
• Partner with the Mobile Locksmith Technician to support mobile sales operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners, dealership personnel, and prospective customers.
• Manage daily sales activities, customer follow-up, and lead generation.
• Assist in maintaining inventory, displays, and the mobile van appearance.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and expand market presence.
• Serve as a brand ambassador delivering exceptional service and professionalism.
