Job summary

MCCOX is seeking an entry-level vehicle technician to perform maintenance and repairs on mobile duty sites. This role requires ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles, and to maintain accurate vehicle history records.

A sign-on bonus program is available for new hires. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience, ASE certifications (G1/A4/A5), and a commitment to safety and ongoing training in evolving automotive technologies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles
• Valid driver's license required
• Must work days, nights, weekends and holidays when needed
• Continuous training to keep up with automotive tech changes
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling and climbing
• Vision includes close/distance/color depth and focus adjustment
• Physical and mental acuity to perform duties within timeframes

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes, filters, transmission flush, inspections
• Perform repairs per certification levels (OBD II, brakes, tires, tune-ups, suspension, electrical, engine/driveline)
• Keep shop area clean and safe
• Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records
• May up-fit vehicles with equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
