Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts is seeking a Field Mechanic Technician to provide mobile mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, and electrical services at Crash Champions locations and with partners. The role blends mechanical work with advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration, requiring travel in a company vehicle and strict adherence to OEM guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of automotive experience, is pursuing I-CAR PL3 and ASE within 90 days, and can perform EV/Hybrid

Qualifications

• 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience required.
• I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire.
• ASE certification scheduled within 90 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of light to moderate mechanical repair, ADAS, electrical systems, diagnostics, programming, and calibrations.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment (multimeters, power probes, resistors).
• Experience with suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, air bag installation, and post collision inspections.
• Ability to program vehicle modules using factory or approved software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to customers.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in company vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical diagnostics, wiring repair.
• Carrying out mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, air bag installation.
• Document services per OEM guidelines and complete test drives to verify functionality.
