Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are a vital part of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thriving in a high-traffic environment where technology innovations and customer needs are continuously evolving. They excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates are expected to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. Assist customers in understanding how to self-serve and utilize the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, processes, and systems. Review personal results, promotions, and updates regularly to stay customer-ready. Support onboarding of customers across locations, perform store operations, and secure kiosk assets, reporting any issues to management.
  4. Be customer-obsessed: connect on a personal level, build rapport, and exceed customer expectations. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and build relationships with new and existing clients. Perform price overrides for specific offers.
  5. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer satisfaction: passionate advocate, effective at balancing experience and performance (Required)
  • Team building: willing to learn and share best practices with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Retail sales: competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $17.50, with on-the-job training and potential incentive pay. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annual incentive target of $18,000, with total earnings guaranteed at $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts.
