Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Technician to provide mobile diagnostic, calibration, and programming services for Crash Champions locations, requiring daily travel in a company vehicle. You will work to OEM standards, verify repairs, and document all work.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service, with opportunities to grow and train through Champions Connect updates.

Qualifications

2–5+ years of automotive experience servicing and diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems.
Strong knowledge of ADAS and electrical services, including calibrations (levels 1–3).
Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and power probes.
Ability to perform and interpret vehicle health scans using factory or non-factory tools.
Able to read OEM and aftermarket service information and wiring schematics.
Ability to program vehicle modules using factory or approved non-factory software.
Excellent verbal and written communication to explain technical findings.
Proficient with Outlook, Teams, and Word.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and professional representation of the company.
Willingness to travel daily to service locations using a company-provided vehicle.
Saturday availability rotating.
Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to internal and external customers.
Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company-provided vehicle.
Perform a range of vehicle services including diagnostics, calibrations, programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.
Ensure all services are documented per OEM guidelines and approved prior to execution.
Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repair outcomes.
Provide excellent customer service by managing difficult situations.
Communicate promptly and professionally with shops and internal stakeholders.
Escalate concerns when needed.
Participate in team meetings and training.
Care for, maintain, and secure tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Stay current on OEM protocols through required training and updates.
Travel daily to service locations and meet productivity and quality goals.
Accurately manage documentation and complete final billing before leaving the site.
Work assigned schedule including Saturday coverage.
Maintain flexible availability to meet customer service commitments.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
