Job summary

ProMedica Fostoria Hospital Association is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician II (MLT II) for per diem coverage in the Laboratory. You will process and interpret specimens, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care.

You will also provide guidance to colleagues when an on-site supervisor is unavailable, ensuring continuity of lab operations and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• Transcripts showing 60 semester hours with specified lab/science coursework per the CFR criteria.
• Completion of ABHES or CAHEA approved clinical laboratory training program or equivalent.
• 3 months of full-time lab experience or alternate CFR-based experience.

Responsibilities

• Process, evaluate, recognize, and interpret specimens.
• Provide leadership and guidance to co-workers when on-site supervision is unavailable.
• Contribute to diagnostic outcomes through accurate laboratory analysis.
