Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe, United States is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician II (MLT II) for per diem, variable shifts. You will process, evaluate, recognize, and interpret specimens and provide leadership guidance when on-site supervision is absent.

This role supports diagnosis and treatment by ensuring accurate lab work and timely communication with the lab team. A licensing-eligible ASCP MLT and education pathways are described in the requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in laboratory science or equivalent with required coursework as per 42 CFR subpart M.
• 60 semester hours with medical lab science courses or related science credits per CFR.
• Completion of ABHES/CAHEA approved clinical training or approved alternate experience route for high complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Process, evaluate, recognize, and interpret specimens to support diagnosis.
• Provide leadership/guidance to co-workers when on-site supervisor is absent.
• Performs duties that ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results within scope of MLT duties.
