Graham Health System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician (MLS/MLT) for its Graham Hospital Laboratory. The role performs moderate to high complexity tests, with guidance from department supervisors and under CAP standards.

Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive wage. The position is full-time, daytime hours (9:00am-9:30pm), working in the laboratory team on-site in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Physical/Chemical/Biological/Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• AMT or ASCP certification within 1 year.
• One year of full-time clinical laboratory experience.
• Current certification is verified upon hire (AMT/ASCP).

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate to high complexity laboratory testing for diagnosis and treatment.
• Conducts routine, urgent, and STAT tests with accuracy under CAP guidelines.
• Receives day-to-day guidance from department supervisors and reports to Laboratory Administrative Director.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in science/clinical

AMT/ASCP certification within 1 year

1 year clinical lab experience
