Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology required.
• 60 semester hours with 24 MLS or 24 science courses required.
• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex diagnostic tests and limited high complexity testing.
• Perform preventative maintenance on select lab equipment or instruments.
• Troubleshoot on select laboratory equipment as a scientist.
• Promote a culture of safety for patients through proper identification, reporting, documentation and prevention of medical errors.
