Job summary

10 Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Illinois seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Lab Technologist to perform comprehensive testing across Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank and Chemistry, with timely result reporting and strict quality control.

The role requires a bachelor’s or MLS/MLT board eligibility with AMT/ASCP certifications; MLS starting pay is $30.56/hour with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and MLT starting at $29.08/hour with $5,000 sign-on.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science.
• MLS/MLT board eligible.
• Certifications: AMT Medical Technologist and ASCP MLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing across Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank and Chemistry.
• Report results to authorized personnel and maintain QA.
• Daily quality control and instrument maintenance.
• Provide staff training on procedures and instrumentation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science or medical technology
