AdventHealth Tampa seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform pre-analytical and analytical tasks, ensure specimen processing accuracy, and report results per SOPs. You will support education and training for staff, while following safety and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology; CLIA equivalency may apply.
• Two or more years of clinical lab experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English reading/writing; basic computer skills; Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytical activities such as equipment maintenance, data entry and inventory control.
• Conduct testing, report results, and provide technical support to staff.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements while supporting education and training.
