Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• 2+ years of clinical lab experience (preferred).
• CLIA equivalency or acceptable alternative per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytical activities including equipment maintenance, function checks, inventory control, supply stocking, specimen collection, and disinfection of laboratory equipment and spaces.
• Conducts post-analytical activities related to laboratory testing, including reporting results and providing technical support.
• Completes tests and analytical procedures according to established SOPs.
• Participates in proficiency testing and adheres to regulatory requirements.
• May precept and train new employees, documenting appropriately.
• Ensures safety policies and proper PPE use and handles hazardous materials according to guidelines.
