Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical or medical laboratory science required.
• 2+ years of clinical lab experience preferred.
• MLS/ASCP or equivalent certification may be required per CLIA standards.
• Ability to maintain equipment and records and perform quality assessment.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytical activities including equipment maintenance, checks, inventory control, specimen collection, and cleaning of laboratory spaces.
• Conducts post-analytical activities including reporting results and providing technical support.
• Completes tests and procedures accurately according to SOPs.
• Participates in proficiency testing and adheres to regulations and policies.
• May precept and train new staff, documenting appropriately.
