Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a full-time night shift. You will perform specimen processing, testing, and result reporting in a high-standard clinical lab environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in MLS/CLS, strong English communication, and the ability to handle equipment, quality control, and safety procedures with minimal supervision. The schedule is 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, at 601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS/CLS or related field with CLIA considerations.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English; good oral communication.
• Experience with laboratory testing and quality assessment activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytical activities: equipment checks, inventory control, specimen collection and processing.
• Execute post-analytical tasks: report results and provide technical support.
• Complete tests per standard operating procedures and participate in proficiency testing.
• Mentor and guide junior staff; support education of clinical staff.
• Follow safety policies and participate in performance improvement activities.
