Job summary

AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is seeking an MLS II to perform analytical testing in a fast-paced hospital laboratory. This full-time role requires accurate testing, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with laboratory leadership to support patient care and quality goals.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-analytical activities, quality control, and on-call as needed. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with MLS certification preferred and two years of clinical lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• MLS certification (ASCP/AMT) preferred.
• Two years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical testing of blood and other specimens following procedures.
• Conducts pre-analytical activities including specimen collection and equipment checks.
• Performs post-analytical activities: verification, reporting, and documentation.
• Ensures quality control and safety standards are followed.
